European Sport Horses for Sale in Southwest Ranches, FL

Jumpers and sport horse prospects offered for sale, plus buyer representation for clients searching in Florida and Europe — matched honestly to the rider who will actually ride them.

Horses we are willing to put our name on

The sale horses at L'Écurie are horses we have ridden, produced or know personally. We do not list horses we have not sat on, and we do not present a horse as something it is not. Our availability changes through the season — young prospects being brought along, made jumpers ready to campaign, and safe, generous horses suited to amateur and junior riders.

Because our inventory turns over, the current list is not published in full on this page. Tell us what you are looking for — height, budget, experience, rider profile and timeline — and we will send what we have and what we can find, with video, honest commentary on strengths and limitations, and a realistic view of what the horse will need from you.

Imported from Europe

L'Écurie sources jumpers and ponies directly from breeders in France and across Europe for the American market. Our family has bought, produced and sold sport horses for decades, which means we see horses before they reach the open market, try them in person, and manage vetting, export, quarantine and transport to Florida on your behalf.

Buying a horse with us

The process starts with a conversation, not a video link. We ask what the horse is for: a first horse for a child, a step up to the 1.20m, a young prospect to produce and resell, or a partner for an adult amateur who wants to enjoy Sunday mornings. Matching the temperament to the rider matters more than pedigree, and mismatched temperament is the single most common reason a purchase goes wrong.

Buyers are welcome to try the horse more than once, in different conditions, and to bring their own trainer. We encourage a full pre-purchase examination with a veterinarian of the buyer's choosing and we share the horse's known history, previous imaging where available, and any maintenance the horse currently receives.

Buyer representation and sourcing

If the right horse is not standing in our barn, we will help you find it. Our family's equestrian network reaches from South Florida to Europe, and we regularly source horses on behalf of clients — screening candidates on video, traveling to try short-listed horses, negotiating on your behalf, and coordinating vetting, transport, quarantine and insurance.

Selling your horse

We also represent horses for owners. Sale horses in our program are kept fit and schooled, professionally photographed and filmed, and shown to qualified buyers only. Terms, commission and the marketing plan are agreed in writing before we begin, and you are told about every inquiry and every trial.
