Boarding built around the individual horse
No two horses arrive at L'Écurie with the same needs. A young jumper coming into work, an experienced grand prix campaigner in the middle of a Florida season, and a retired partner enjoying quiet turnout each require a different day. Our boarding program starts with a conversation about your horse — the feed he is currently on, how he handles heat, how he behaves in turnout, what his veterinarian and farrier have asked us to watch — and that conversation becomes a written care plan the whole team follows.
Because the barn is intentionally limited in size, every horse is handled by people who know him by name and by habit. Staff notice the small things first: a hoof that fills differently, a horse who leaves a corner of his grain, a change in how he greets you at the stall door. Those observations reach you the same day through the member portal rather than weeks later at a veterinary appointment.

Daily care and routine
Horses are fed four times a day on individual rations, with hay offered through the day so that no horse stands for long stretches on an empty stomach. Stalls are cleaned at least five times per day, and every horse is seen and handled by a member of staff at least five to six times between 7:00 AM and 7:30 PM.
Turnout is individual and scheduled around Florida weather — early in the summer, longer and later through the dry season. Medication and supplement administration follows the veterinarian's written instruction and is logged each time it is given.
Nutrition and health management
Feeding at L'Écurie is treated as a performance decision. Rations are built per horse from quality forage and balanced concentrates, adjusted for workload, body condition and season, and reviewed whenever a horse's program changes. We coordinate directly with your veterinarian and farrier, hold your horse for appointments, and keep vaccination, Coggins, dental and shoeing records current in the portal so you always know what is due next.
Emergencies are covered around the clock. Staff live on the property, and a documented protocol governs who is called, in what order, and what care is given while help is on the way. Your emergency contacts and your veterinarian's details are on file before your horse ever unloads from the trailer.
What owners see from home
Every boarder receives access to the L'Écurie member portal. From a phone you can read the day's schedule for your horse, request lessons or services, see health documents and photos, message the barn manager directly, and view and download invoices. Owners who travel — a large share of our clients — tell us the portal is the difference between wondering and knowing.
